Overview

What is an Upstream DAO?

An Upstream DAO is a virtual community that holds shared funds in an Ethereum wallet.

Members contribute cryptocurrency to the DAO to join and then create and vote on proposals to decide how to use the funds. If a proposal is passed and executed, the commands in the proposal are carried out and the decision is recorded on the blockchain.

To become a part of an Upstream DAO, you will need to receive an invitation from the community.
